painting calipers warranty question

i read in a post that if you paint your calipers your SA can void the warranty covering the brakes. Has anyone had this happen to them, or paint them and have their SA tell them something?

hi there

painting your calipers woudnt void ur warrenty. make sure when painting, you do not touch ur disk or pads or any other instruments around the caliper.

MAKE SURE YOU ALSO BUY THE CORRECT PAINT DAT IS HEAT RESISTANT.

IN MOST CASES WARRENTY WOULDNT COVER YOU ON PADS AND DISK DUE TO IT BEING WEAR N TEAR, AND ANY WARRENTY WORK CARRIED OUT IS DESCREATIONLY CARRIED OUT BY THE DEALER.
