Preserving proper shift geometry is critical under the extreme demands of high performance driving. The complete e46 M3 Short Shift System by Radenergie integrates all the crucial components outlined by Radenergie engineers:

* The Shift Lever upper section, constructed from polished alloy, is mated to the lower half with a high dexterity urethane material eliminating excessive play and undesired vibrations.

* The pivot ball and lower bushing are machined to exacting tolerances from a crystalline thermoplastic compound incorporating a uniformly dispersed solid lubricant. Its specific formulation yields a premium, internally lubricated bearing-grade. This space-age polyester compound has not only an outstanding wear resistance, but offers in comparison with steel bearings an even lower coefficient of friction as well as higher Pressure-Velocity capabilities.

* The Lower Selector Beam incorporates ergonomics along with correct geometry to deliver crisp response and positive shift engagement.

* Solid Rubber Mounts reduce lost energy from torsional motion aiding in acceleration and ensures proper transmission alignment under an aggressive driving environment.
