Cross another two goals off my life's ambition list! (soon)

I've finally gone and done it, today, I ordered a Interlagos Blue E90 with Bamboo Beige and Sycamore Anthracite Wood interior (let's hope it's more wood than anthracite I don't want coal trim in a BMW), M-Drive, EDC, Park Distance Control and USB.

I've been looking around for good deals for a few months, thought about importing a used US car, but finally decided that if i'm gonna get a car that's at least 3 levels above my current car I might as well get exactly the car I want! So hopefully they can get the car into the June build, and I get the car in time for my 40th birthday in September.

Now I get to anxiously wait for the delivery of my baby son in August and my M3 in September. What a great summer it's gonna be!

And which dealer did you go through?

Why does everyone buy from BMW Toronto? they are the absolute worse when it comes to service. I will never give them a penny of my money as long as I live.

I knew the salesman when I bought the car and their customer service was amazing. And until this day, the treat me like a KING.
I went back to get the additional wear and tear warranty, and everyone was more then nice to me. I felt like I was buying another car from them.

Congrats on the car and the incoming baby.

The Anthracite, if you haven't seen it, is noticably brown and "woody" in sunlight (much richer look than burl, which as it becomes more common is starting to look cheap to me), but in the dark it has a really nice deep dark shine. I like it a lot, and if I had gotten jerez I would have gone for bamboo/sycamore, but I like black interiors on lighter colors like interlagos.

Thanks,

I have had black leather interiors in my cars for 14 years, and decided it was time for a change, I ordered the IB partly because you can't get Bamboo in Le Mans in Canada (plus my mom used to have a blue Pontiac Le Mans station Wagon in the '70's)

I appreciate your input guys, I guess I'll just have to see how I feel with their service. If I'm not pleased with it I'll go to another shop to get serviced.

I went to Downtown BMW because it is the most convenient for me, I work at King and Bay and I live on Queen. St West. If Downtown BMW doesn't satisfy me Maranello, BMW Mississagua BMW and Budd's are all easy highway drives from my home and they can win my business.

Hey dude, congrats on the new M!! I've never bought, serviced, or even walked into BMW Toronto but it sure looks cool at night. Kind of looks like a giant die cast display case.

Anyhow, I have Sycamore and I love it. Member sge92 and I met up a week ago (sorry, haven't had time to post the pics yet) and his car was an exact clone of mine but he had the Carbon Leather over black. I thought it was nice but looked a bit bland to me. To each their own.

I'll try to snap a few shots of my interior when I step out for lunch in a bit.

Here you go. Hope these help. BTW, sorry for the poor quality photos, they were taken on my Blackberry.

Cheers!

Wicked!

I was hoping the wood would be that rich brown colour, it looks a lot blacker on the BMW website.

I know people have their own preferences, as you mentioned, but to me wood trim in a sports sedan adds a little touch of class!

Thanks for the pics!
