Use 3M double stick tape.

Put it on the dash or attach it to the bottom of the bumper. 3M would be my choice of all these.

I've been using double sided mounting tape for the past few months. I've taken my plate off, and put it back on with the same tape several times. No probs.

First "solution" looks 100x worse than fastening it properly to the bumper.. 2nd is about 99x worse. Why would anyone stick their license plate on the dash and somehow think this looks "better" than being attached to the front of the car, via a proper bracket? That's like saying that Janet Reno is better looking than Jessica Alba!

If you're gonna keep your plate up there, use the bracket. If you intend to show your car and will occasionally remove your plate, the front bumper looks much better without two holes in it.

Sometimes, I thought of a weird idea that if the front US license plate shape can be customized to be the same as the Euro's, it'll be great for everyone. hehe...

Dude, those SF cops are freaken anal... I owned my previous car for 6 years with no plate and never had a problem. When I gave it to my cousin who lives in SF, he got 2 tix for the front plate in 1 month.

Dang it sounds like cops have nothing better to do in SF now. Maybe crime is lower in the city?

But yeah, I am riding with no front plate right now. I plan to use the same thing KSfrogsman is using. It seems to hold pretty well and it come off and on pretty easily.

because the cars with front license plate looks ugly. horrible look of the bracket makes it look worse.

can anyone post a picture of the plate with the 3M tape.

im kinda afraid to drive in the airport without front plates coz ive heard that cops watch out for those in the airport.

the other night i saw a lot of cops pull over a lot of cars in the airport and noticed the cars dont have front plates.

i have never driven my car in the airport coz i dont wanna take the risk.
