The e46 is starting to show its age :(

Pictures of my 1999 e46 which i picked up in November 1998. Man its starting to show its age!

Just thinking of the good old days since i don't have it anymore, and anxiously waiting for my e90.

Hey there, now, a 2002 Titanium Silver x5, fully loaded with NAV, all packages, and premium sound. Its been an awesome vehicle, but the mpg is pretty bad, like all SUVs and i miss being closer to the ground. I can't wait to get my new e90, but its so far out! I don't take delivery till the first week of June. I'm starting to lose it.

Wow...You find SOO much useful info on here..Im so glad you wrote that Nathan..I was at my dealer yesterday (obviously getting the latest info about my delivery) and she says "Have you seen our X5 outside?!"..They have a 2005 X5 that they never sold there, TiAg, Premium, and upgraded wheels..32 miles on the clock, and they want 38,900 for the things..Not bad ..For a split second, I thought about it, but figured, no way, Ive been thinking abou tthis E90 for so long, I would just kick myself for getting the X...So you helped me out Nate!!

Yeah, my wife REALLY wanted an X3, but the gas mileage is not worth it. We have two people in my building that have X3s and they aren't too happy with their actual mpgs. My building is the official BMW building here on Kelley Barracks. We have 2 X3 owners, 1 330 owner, 1 325 owner(me), a 530, an X5, and a partridge in a pear tree. And these are all recent cars within the last year.

Yes it does look old, but still looks nice. I love how over on m3forum.com they degrade the e90 and say how more beautiful the e46 is. Just let that new e90 m3, all those guys who just purchased an e46 m3 are gonna be kicking themselves in the nutz , I just know it.

The E46 is awesome, it will look good for years to come. My personal fav. would be an 05' 330i ZHP(did they make them that year?) or a facelifted 330i w/ the M styling package.

The E46 is a beautiful car. I think it looks fantastic. I still like the looks of my old E30 and E24's I have owned. BMW design is timeless in a lot of ways. I am finally liking the 7-series after the recent refresh. I still don't like the 5-series and am pleased that I pushed my mom to buy a final year E39. That vehicle rocks. Might look "dated" but it is an awesome vehicle.

You should feel very guilty about pushing your mother into the E39 - it is a fantastic car, but in all honesty the E60 is quite a machine too

The E46, your right Nathan, it does show its age, particularly the lack of modern-ism in the interior when compared to recent cars.

Here are a couple of pictures of my E46 facelifted

The e46 is classic. Made me really love the 3-series Bimmers.

Still lots of my friends didn't like it when it first came out. They said the rear view reminded them of Civics.

Show its age? The E46 design will be timeless like most BMW's.

I still think the E46 with the M Sport bumpers is one of the best looking 3 series sedans...
