No such thing as Inspection II for E90

I just talked to my BMW service advisor and he informed me that E90 does not have an inspection I or II schedule like the E46. He said everything is now condition based.
I am getting close to 60K and out of warranty and want to do the MUST service for the car. Is this a good list for a 60k Service?

1. Oil and filter change
2. Air filter replace
3. Fuel filter replace
4. Break fluid flush

Brake fluid is due every 2 years, and the car will tell you when it's due. The only thing the car won't tell you about from your list is the fuel filter. Not a bad idea to have replaced, but not a necessity.

The car doesn't tell you when to replace the engine air filter. The manual says repalce the engine air filter at every 3rd (BMW schedule) oil change. It does tell you when to repalce the all-important cabin air filter...

Volkswackin is refering to the fuel filter is in the fuel tank and costs about $180 for the part + installation.

Even though the e90 doesn't "need" an inspection II, a good independent will do it for you. I recently purchased a high mileage '06 330i and went to Turner Motorsports for service. They performed their Inspection II which is more thorough than BMW. All the fluids (oil, coolant, brake, tranny, rear diff) get changed along with all the filters (oil, air, fuel, cabin, etc). New plugs are put in and the best part is the price was right around $600. Not bad considering what the equivalent would have cost at the dealer. Bottom line, if you're going to keep it for a while, find a good independent to treat her right.

This might just be semantics, but even though there isn't technically an "Inspection II" for the E9x, am I right to say that we're still going to have to do all the components of that service at some point or another (based on the car computer)?
