New Owner - M3 DCT Coupe

Hi all, its good to join a M3 owners club.

I have just purchased a Space Grey 2009 M3 Coupe DCT. The car is absolutely everything what I expected and much more. I have never owned a DCT (equivalent) before but this gearbox is just so good. Over all very impressed.

Only thing now is waiting for the 1200miles so I really feel what the car is a about. Currently got 1012 miles so not long to go.

My car is a MY2008 with Connected drive - Can anyone tell me differences on the MY2008 and MY2009 thanks?

Not sure about the differences on the coupe 08 09 models - main difference will be the HD based I-drive system on the newer cars. Yours will be the older DVD based system.

Look forward to seeing some pics when you get it

Nice car. I'm not sure I could handle the wait to open it up. I pick up mine used so she was ready to go! So what mods are you thinking or do you plan enjoying her in the current condition for a little while?

Thanks. I'm trying to keep the pennies in the pocket for as long as I can...but feeling a itch to get an upgraded exhaust just to get to hear that V8 noise a little more.

Only mods at present are the BMW Performance Black Gloss Kidneys. Cant see it staying that way for long though.

Have you done any mods on yours?

Have you got a pic with the black gloss kidney grills?

My 09 spec is due to be delivered in 6 weeks and is the same colour so might get some if they look good!

The Gloss Black grills look good as they go well with the High Gloss Shadowline. It gives a more aggressive look.

I still do like the stock ones as I feel they give the car a more civilised look.
