Tire Balance

Hi everyone,

First of all, i feel vibrations in my steering when i was driving fast, around 45mph or higher, Does it mean it need a tire balance or wheel alignment?

Also, I have changed my rims from style 161 to 189 oem myself. bought from a member here. I wondered, would BMW do tire balance and wheel alignment for me, since my car maintance package and warranty will end on the 2012. I am afraid they would void my warranty on that thing.

Thanks,
Kei

might be a wheel that needs to be balanced, might be a bent rim. possibly even a bubbled tire.
as for your second question, balancing and alignment are not covered as part of the maintenance. you would have to pay them out of pocket regardless of what wheels you have on the car.
