Local TX Retailers?
One thing that irritates me about mod shopping is that it is mostly online. Does anyone know of any stores in the Houston area that carry mods for the M3? Im not talking serious mods like exhaust, superchargers, and things like that. Im looking for things like matte black kidneys, aluminum pedal kits, angel eyes, RPi scoops, and the usual "starter" mods. Anyone know of a local shop? Thanks.

M performance is a recent shop that has branched out. we are off of kuykendahl, between FM1960 and louetta, on the left hand side next to Collision specialists and pensoil lube. we just moved in, so its a little rough since we have to re-do the shop but hey, we're up and running.
David Hajicek from Mathews auto sales owns it. he is a very respected body and mechanical tech. does any/all repairs on exotics or euro cars. |

I'll probably be getting some of my stuff from APE Performance, they seem like an awesome local retailer!

I may be moving to Houston next year, I'll be watching for local shops, etc. It'd be awesome if someone started doing superchargers, etc locally, since nobody's really doing anything so exciting here in Seattle. Better business in prius mods and biodiesel, I guess. We do have a few Dinan shops for M's, but that's about it.

we can do practically ANYTHING. try to think of something that we cant do that the dealer can there will be a very small list
we're also set up with 3 GT-1's with V57, and 2 Progman's V32.1. translation: if anything on any BMW needs to be reprogrammed you need a retrofit installed (ipod/sirius/etc) you need a control module replaced and reprogrammed instead of going to the dealer come see us new alignment rack is coming as well. we need to either get it delivered from colorado or we need to go drive up there with a freightliner to go get it. we're working out the logistics right now. we will be performing corner balancing, street, custom as well as race alignments. owner supplied adjustments can be used as well. race cars prepped and repaired. we just dropped another race engine in a sweet 2002 race car. 4cyl power!! were currently working on swapping engines out of an E36, and doing 3 race car swaps and preps....... among some ferrari maintenance and some other goodies. we're even going to be putting the old alignment lift outside so we can pressure wash under the cars for you detail freaks!!! mainly this is for the race cars when they go off into the dirt...... clean it up and check for damage without making the shop a mess. an idea we had for you guys under warranty and want to keep your cars tip top: a "warranty check out" basically we check the car out completely, including a GT-1 scan and give you a list of stuff you could go to a dealer and have fixed under your BMW warranty. keeps your car in perfect shape, and when you go OUT of warranty you already know someone who can fix it for you shop number for M performance: 281-257-6602. ask for David. he's there M-F, and on Sat. by appointment only. mild to wild, performance or stock. maintenance or diagnosis. im there mostly after work and on the weekends. dont just limit us to BMW's. we also have a mercedes STAR factory tool and can work on any european high line vehicle. we both have been working on BMW's for over 10 years each. the shop was just opened, but both of us have been around the block a time or two. |

Himm, in 2 block radius we have 3 2008/9 M3's, and I spotted at least 4 more withing 10mile radius. I believe I am the only one using it for daily driving, rest looks like weekend/casual.

Are you kidding, I see at least three a day. When I run at Memorial Park every week night there are usually two or three. And just my luck, pretty much all of them are white.
