how much are you willing to spend? I recently got mine and have done a lot of research online. I might be able to help you.

I got a used base support on ebay for $120 and got a new Thule 516 Prologue from orsracksdirect.com for $90. The Thule 516 will fit all bikes with disc brakes. With the right adapter (xadapt9), it will fit on the BMW base support (minor modification required).

Base Support:

there's no one selling a used base support on Ebay at the moment, but there is a new one from a dealer for $157 + shipping.

GetBMWparts.com sells it for $176 + shipping. If you can wait a bit, check ebay and craigslist daily for a used set.

Bike Rack:

This is a fork mounted rack from Thule sold by orsracksdirect.com. Shipping was super fast and their prices are the best online.

I got this particular model because it can fit disc brake bikes without any modification to the rack. The Thule 518 can fit disc brake bikes too, but it is more expensive. Remember to get the xadapt9 with it. You will need to put a bigger washer along with xadapt9 to fit this rack to the BMW base support.
