Storing my car for a month-anything I need to do?
So my e93 m3 will be in storage (a covered garage at my friends condo) for about one month.
Is there anything special I need to do to prep it for the storage? I have heard that the tank should be filled up but that's about it. I guess a month isn't that long of a time. However any pointers/tips would be appreciated. |

Its not too long, only a month so I wouldnt worry much. But the usual stuff to do for winter storage (for those who store their cars for the winters months) are:
-fill up the tank -fill up the tires (to avoid flat spots from the car sitting on 1 specific area of the tire) -cover the car with a good car cover

I will def have the tank filled..I have heard covers are only necessary for outdoor storage and can create more issues. The tires are run-flats so I should be ok. The battery wouldnt' weaken/die in months time would it? |

Run the car for at least an hour at temp, then put it away. See Continental or Lycoming websites for aircraft engine storage guidelines for the correct way to store an engine. If you go half that far, your car engine will live forever. For more information see "corrosive attack".
