Limerock Ct - Alms Bmw M3

As the title states...I am going to start ramping up a convoy/meet to head up on the last part of the race (it starts Friday) to watch the cars run and of course to go see the new ALMS BMW M3 race car. I have watched the races on TV and they are very, very good and having the chance to go see it live would be awesome! Of course this will be on SPEED channel but this is MUCH better.

That is quite a drive. Looks like fun but I will have to wait and see since it is in July.

I'm going for sure. we need a general bimmer post fourmun section for this as i'm sure we will get people fron the North east and new england areas.

Space I think you are right...thanks for the replies so far...I know it is far out but the best planning starts this way. THe drive is long...about 5 hours or so but I think it is well worth it. I know it is going to be an early morning run and a late return home but I don't care.

I'd be interested in hooking up with you guys. I am in CT, so I am guessing I could catch the convoy on I-84? That would be worth the trip in itself...

How does one get BMW parking passes at Lime Rock?

I think the paddock for parking is included with the purchase of the ticket. I'll find out for sure since my letter that came with the ticket explained that they cater to BMW's!

We certainly can pick you up in CT. There is a small chance I'll already be in NY on Saturday so I'll post up...I'll try to set something up so we all can meet up and convoy in no matter what though.

I checked into parking and it is included and have options for two sections. If you get there early they have the specialized vehicle parking area which is under there discression and the BMW paddock area up to 150 cars catered to just...well BMW. I think it should be fine.

So, this is my bump for this because I will be gone this weekend, come back for four days and head up on Friday. I think I am going to go to NYC as a pit stop instead of doing the whole drive in one shot plus I have friends there and want to catch up. If anyone wants to join me I can call up a hotel in NYC/Time Square and see if I can get a deal. I'll head out to Limerock early in teh morning.

i looked out for you but didnt see you i was parked in the bmw parking next to a blue e46 m3 for sale it was great and i had a good time road atlanta was better last year imho but had a great time saw my dream car ferrari 599gtb
