PKumarM3: 335i XDrive M-Tech Steering Wheel Install Pic

Whats up guys

After seeing and driving AutoCouture's M-Tech steering wheel, I had to have one. Seems like that happens quite often. I might have a mancrush on Sal's car

Anyways, I bought the M-Tech steering wheel and also decided to spicen it up and purchased the M3 steering wheel trim rather than the M-tech steering wheel trim. The only difference is the M3 trim has 2 indents around the "M" logo.

Less talk and here are 2 pics

So THICK

Funny thing happened. I disconnected the battery before installing the steering wheel, and when I connected everything and assembled the wheel, I got a 4x4 and DSC malfunction warning, which I read was fine. I moved the steering wheel all the way right and left, and the warning went away, but a Service Engine Soon light still remains. Weird.

Eitherway, I will finally be using the BT Scan tool that I picked up as soon as I buy Windows XP.

Thanks for looking!

thanks. for the price ($385 for wheel, $100 for trim) its worth it since the steering wheel is the most molested part of this car, second to the shifter.

They're both the same in thickness. Tri-stitched M3 steering wheel is much softer.

thanks! yeah it definitely looks sick! you are right that the m3 wheel is softer, but I always find that material to wear quicker. I think the perforated will last longer!
