Questions I'd like answering:

What's it like to drive? Get a bit of detail on the different modes as well (Normal, Sports, Sports+). Comparisons to other cars (SLK, Boxster, etc.) would be great.

Boot space thoughts

What the car looks like in the flesh (if you get a chance to see it).

DCT thoughts (If it's loaded as you say, I'm guessing it'll include this)

I have seen the car in Geneva in orion silver and havanna.

Believe me it is a real beauty and looks even better than the pictures in real life.

A member on here PM'd me to say that his dealer (UK) had just taken delivery of their demonstrator and he got a sneak preview of it - black 35i, manual with beige leather and 18 v spokes - the bolted ones.

I would guess they won't be allowed to put them on the road until 9th May, but I would hope we might get a sneak preview before then!!

My dealer did contact me a few weeks back to say that the Z4 was going to be at the local dealer for one day of training. I was out of the area on that day otherwise I would have popped in to say hello. He then mentioned that the dealer was following it up with a track day at Oulton Pack for the staff to get their hands on it.

I get the feeling that there are a few Z4s doing the rounds at UK dealers but they're keeping them very secretive and hidden away until the official release date... Just two weeks to go.

You mean the one that BMW claims they will not build?

I doubt that any country product manager has any knowledge in this area (but I could be wrong)

the boot space was OK. Actuallly a littel bit better than OK. My girlfrind said that was nice! It approved...

The car is just like I imagend. It was nice and the lines was good. The v shaped hood that goes over the roof and on the trunk was nice. It is as good as the pictures show.

i also listend to the hifi pro stereo and it was very good.

And you guys getting the 35, I just have to say it. I DONT LIKE YOU. THE SOUND WAS AMAZING

Thanks for the info. I take it you weren't allowed to have a test drive?

i went to my dealer today (uk) and they had a blue one in the garage with white interior. Unfortunately with it being a sunday not many people were working so he couldn't show it me. However he said they had a go round brands hatch so their are some knocking about uk dealers and he offered me the chance to see it before launch date if i so wish.

The beige roofliner is in the same material sorry. That is the only thing that i found negative about the car.

The car looks really good! And the sound of the 23 engin is very nice. Better than 325i

Thanks for the info.

It was too late to change anyway. My car is already in production. I now have anthrazite roof liner (but was thinking about having beige right to the end).
