OK, back in like 2003 or 2004 the Gov. Grey Davis decided to triple DMV renewal fees to help the budget. He got booted out of office for it.

Well, I just got my DMV renewal for my BMW and it's like double the cost it should be?
Did Gov. Schwartwhatever pull a Davis and raise those fees along with jacking up our sale tax rate from 8.25% 9.25%??

That's messed up if he did.
Don't raise taxes, rates, fees on citizens to help balance the budget, stop spending BILLIONS each year on non-citizens. Is that so hard for them to figure out?

Yeah, I have been under a rock for the prior 3-4 weeks.
I heard of the sales tax increase because of the Toyota advertisements they were doing. But actually watching the news or reading the paper for the past 3-4 weeks has been nil. Fuk n A wish I would have known earlier than i would of renewed my car registration at the end of March to beat the pay hike.

Funny how they spend all our money, and give lots of it to non U.S. citizens (they can even collect unemployment in CA...figure that one out huh?) but we have to continually pay more and more for services and such they squander away and/or give to the wrong people.

Yes, it's a state issue and Cali's issue, but don't be so shocked when the feds start raising taxes next year and beyond...where do you think the bailout $$$ came from?
