Ceramic Controls

Photos don't do them justice. You need to see them and especially feel them. Now whether they're worth the price, it's a matter of opinion. On a $100,000. car, what's $650. more.

I think they look great, I would certainly get them if I was getting a 7

They do look stunning and add an extra touch of elegance to the already beautiful interior of the new 7 series!

Not really. If you compare the amount of buttons to a MB S class or Audi A8, the 7 series has the least amount of buttons.

It is true that there are more buttons in the new 7 series than previous models, but that's due to the fact that most people complained that the 7 series didn't have 'enough' buttons (e.g. the climate control was controlled via the iDrive system, so now it has it's own direct access buttons).

hmmm This is good. I ordered mine with the ceramic, and I thought on the iDrive was Ceramic. Are you saying it is all the buttons? Even radio and rear buttons? This is a good deal then, at least after thinking it was only for the one center iDrive knob.

Thanks for this clarification

Garage List
Yes, it's the HVAC front and rear, radio, iDrive controller and gear selector.

All the control knobs are exchanged for the ceramic type if you get that option:

- Front and Back iDrive controller
- Front and Back Climate control buttons
- Front Radio control button
- Gear selector
