Button on side of seat...

What does the button on the top side of the seat do on the 335i? Move the whole seat forward and backward? There is a manual latch to lower the seat back to get into the rear, so I am confused. Just curious if anyone knows exactly. Thanks.

My guess is to move the seat forward for rear entrance.

Its the power seat feature to move the seat back and forth so people can get in and out of the back.

Sorry for not adding a pic. I circled the button. I've seen the latch above it move the back of the seat, so does this button move the whole seat?

you can tilt the seat forward maually i think, but the buttin just moves the whole seat forward/back to allow easier acess to the back seat

That sounds good. I wish it was like the G35, where it automatically moves the seat forward when the seat back is collapsed. But this is better than the e46 setup.

That's the EJECT button. Be careful with that.
