Some jack*** keyed my car
Walked out of my shop today and noticed a long scratch from front panel to driver's door, it is deep but luckily no dent. Took it to the dealer and they estimated for $2200. Please let me know of any good paint shop in OC that would do the job and cover $500 insurance deductible.

how many panels did he get?
IMO removal labor, paint match, paint materials, paint labor, and reassembly labor for 3 panels (fender, door, rear quarter) should not be more than $1200 from a reputable shop |

2 weeks after i bought my Acura Integra, me and my ex wife went to check out a boat show at San Diego Convention Center. It was late Sunday afternoon, last day of the show and pretty much dead. We parked on the underground parking and took a spot with not a single car within at least 20 spots. Not one car.
The boat show is completely dead, so we leave in about 20-25 min. Get back to my 2 week old, beautiful black Integra and see the entire passenger side keyed. That was the only time in my life when i had tears in my eyes because of a car....

wow..sorry to hear that bro...and i feel you too...happened to my car too, 4 months after purchase but not a key situation, but rather a hit and run at a Ralph's parking lot, cost me $600 to fix though, lucky me, if you call it that.
does it seem like black or darker cars get keyed more often than other lighter cars? I'm curious...since my friend's black Benz C240 got a long keyed from front fender all the way towards the gas tank cap after he bought it for 6 months..

I recommend Fix Auto in Irvine:
Fix Auto Irvine www.fixauto.com 16161 Construction Cir W Irvine, CA 92606 (949) 651-1491 When I had my Honda Del Sol, I used to get hit ALL THE TIME. This is no joke, in a span of 4 weeks, I got hit 4 separate times. Each and ever time they have taken care of the Del Sol, my parent's Accord and quite a few of my friends. All have walked away a happy customer. With my E92, they painted and installed my bumper kits. Highly recommend them. |
