So Cali Newbie
Hi Everyone.
Im a benz owner that has decided to give BMW a try. I've never been a fan of the interior design of a Bmw compared to a Benz but Benz can't compete with Bmw performance. So my next car when my lease is up fall of 07 will most likely be the 330i 4dr or the 2dr coupe i dont know which model yet. Thats why im on this site to learn from you guys.. Thank You in advance..... |

I just did what you are talking about. My E320 lease was up and I ordered a 330i from Germany.
I have about 1000 miles on it so far. I've had 8 Mercedes and this is my third BMW. I had a 740 and a 528 also. This is my first 3 series. You are correct that the BMW is more fun to drive (performance), but I must say that the Mercedes was better put together and much more luxurious. I am enjoying the 3, but think I might have made a mistake in not getting the 5 since the 3 is so much smaller than the E class. I think the Run Flat Tires make a very rough ride on the 3. I am seriously thinking of replacing them with regular tires. I'm having a hoot with the Navigation, Comfort Access, Adaptive Headlights and Bluetooth Phone connectivity. Other than an initial defective gas gauge (which corrected itself in a week or so), I have no problems with the new car. Works perfectly (except for Sirius radio, that is far inferior to XM here in SoCal). Ask me anything else you have on your mind. And, try giving Hamlet at Bob Smith BMW in Calabasas a call. He is great and did a wonderful job on my order and delivery. No games. A straight shooter. Larry in Sherman Oaks (San Fernando Valley) |
