Where do you get your alignment done?

I need to replace the tires and wheels soon and like to have the alignment done at the same time but dealer is asking for like $ 250.

Is that normal or should I shop around?

I live in northern va. Let me know of your favorite places to do an alignment.

Thanks

Hi there, is normal, this cars in order to be aligned need sometimes, some parts changed, is not only a few turns in some bolts in the suspension like other cars. So the price could vary from 100 bucks to 300 depending if it is indeed just turning some bolts or replacing one or more camber bolts. I did tried once to align at a tire shop, they never could but also never told me before the job there was a chance they could not align it. They charged, tried and then refered me to the dealer, no refund tough. So to be safe, do it at the dealer, and ask how long they guarantee it. Good luck

I'd definitely stay with the dealer on this if you can get a very reliable referral.

My BMW dealership charges $129.99 plus tax for a full alignment. And if they put the car up on the lift and find out it doesn't need it they won't charge you anything.
