Acceleration hesitation/flat-spot?
I perceive a flat-spot or slight hesitation with my 3-series E90 when I accelerate.
I've raised it with the dealer, who say they can't reproduce it and also involved BMW UK, and I'm told they've carried out full diagnostic checks. But unfortunately they say there are no fault codes and hence there is nothing wrong with my car even though I experience a 'dip' in acceleration under certain conditions/situations. The purpose of this poll is to find out how many other BMW drivers have experienced the same or a similar problem. Please can readers reply indicating whether they have perceived something similar? When replying, please can you give the following information: Engine speed / circumstances when hesitation occurs Car model & engine size Manual or automatic Country of origin (ie, US-spec, UK-spec, or other) Build or purchase date (month/year) Many thanks. |
