It's easy, you'll get directions when you buy the kit but here ya go:
1) Wash with Dawn 2) Clay the car 3) Wash with Z7 4) Apply either Z1 or if you bought ZFX apply Z2 Allow it to haze up and remove with soft terry towel or microfiber 5) Apply Z6 6) Feeling embitious? Apply another coat of Z2 remove and if you bought Z8 finish it with that or you can just finish with Z6. Sounds like a lot but it's really not, especially after your initial application. |

That first day is TOUGH if you try to do the claying and a couple of coats of Z2. Since your car is new, it SHOULDN"T need Z5, but with black, who knows. After that, you'll just be putting Z6 or Z8 on after washing, and it really works well.
I klnow that where I bought, from LA Zaino (lazaino.com) they have some sort of Zaino parties where they go to a customer location with a few customers, do some demos and help with the correct procedure. Costs you some drinks and food, but might be worth it to learn the right way. |

I like doing z5 even if you feel it might not need it. I feel it adds to the overall look. Z8 is Z6 on steriods with some other benefits. Stuff is great. Remember to apply Zaino very very thin, those bottles supplied with the zfx are 2 oz, I fill them a 1/4 of the way to complete a car once. Thats about a 1/2 oz. Thats all you need. Remember to prime the pads with either alittle z6 or alittle water.
With the claying I also like to split the peices in half just incase you drop the bars, cause then its trash. Also dont over do the soap to water lubrication mix. I find if i dont follow the directions and add way to much it starts to break down the clay. PS i like to us more soap then recommended, makes me feel better. Also be sparring with the z6 or z8 a full sprits over a panel or 2 small sprits are all you need. Apply the z2 and z5 up and down the car in straight strokes. So thats bumper to bumper on the hood, roof and trunk. Then vertical on all panels. I usually do the whole car then wipe it off. I leave the lower sections of the car for after everything else has been covered. I usually start at the hood and work my way back. Thanks Chris |

I wrote up a rather long post at ...
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1353 that you may wish to read. However, I will add a couple of things here Allow the Z2 to set up overnight before wiping the haze off. As previously mentioned, there is no need to use 'elbow grease' at all, and apply it in straight lines, NOT IN CIRCULAR motions. Additionally, apply CS over the Z2. you will be amazed, really! Happy detailing
