E92 in UK - Latest Engine Options

Thought ppl might be interested to know, I've just been into the dealer (UK) to fiddle with my order, and they now have the options list for 5 Coupe models : 325i SE, 330i SE, 335i SE, 330d SE & 335d SE.

The 335d SE looks identical to 335i but comes with automatic/paddles as standard.

Mark.

Did you know if/when "M Sport" kit versions of E92 will be available in UK?

335d: 286hp , 580Nm Come on, BMW, we want at least 620Nm for the price premium you're charging over the 330d!

The fuel type for the 335i is specified with ROZ 95 - 98.
The german E92 brochure(April 2006) states that one can also use ROZ 91, but with reduced power and increased consumption.

When ordering a BMW, always make sure you get in after the March or September cut-off. That's when BMW review all the equipment & options.

I have looked at the premium of the 335D over the 330D which is £3,645
If you take into account these differences in spec is nearer a grand.
  • Auto with paddle shift £1590
  • sport seats £430
  • sports suspension £200
  • 188 wheels + £320
Total £2,540

So £1105 for an extra 55 BHP & 80 Nm
bigger front brakes 330x26 mm vs 348x30mm
twin exit pipes
+ few other minor tweaks.

I was going for all that except auto on my provisional 330D order...so in effect with removing a few things I don't really need. The 335D will be about £1500 more. Hopefully residuals will be better

Great post. Amazing that the CO2 and fuel consumption are almost the same for the 330D and 335D. Awesome car, can't wait to read reviews. Let's hope this is one of the diesels they bring to NA!

Even on a brand new model ?
I'm suprised because the original pdf's with the options list on launch at the end of April didn't mention DAB Radio. In fact I can't place DAB radio being available on any BMW in the UK before.
It's such a quick change of equipment. In fact I will phone my dealership and ask him if its too late to change the spec (Car lands on 17th or 23rd of Sept)

pretty sure your car will not built this side of the summer factory close down...can't harm asking the dealer.

DAB = mobile planet rock and reception of R5live
