i need help... how does this turn out? 335i
i was wondering how the color choosing works...
because when looking at color options i noticed that when u build an e90 and pick gray dakota leather for interior color that the whole interior is gray... but from some pictures ive seen for the 335i the interior comes out black with gray seats... kinda like the picture below.. so i was wondering when ordering a 335i will it look like the picture below... or will it be all gray? thanks! |

All gray is only on the sedan. I believe all leather interior in the coupe is two-toned just like Terra and Lemon in e90.

Good question! Where did you get these pictures from? I looked at the configurator on www.bmw.at, and I had a related question regarding the color of the ceiling. If one picks jade gray or dakota gray, the ceiling is shown as Dakota gray. In my opinion, this looks rather odd with Jade gray, since the colors are close but not the same. When one picks beige, the ceiling turns beige as well. I haven't tried all combinations, so there may be more colors than these two for the ceiling.

Creambeige is also one-toned with ceiling in the same colour. All other leather colours come two-toned.

The interior of the picture you show is jade gray I think which is not available in the US so your gray will not look like that.

That pic is Jade grey and as for now not available in the US. Coral red, Jade Grey and Saddle Brown are the only "two tone" combos for the e92. Black, Creme Beige and "Regular" Grey are one tone and even some of the plastics are changed to these colors. The look for regular grey is very grey but I sat in one at the dealer and it was still really nice. However, may not be what you are looking for.

All gray would look a little wierd IMHO. If you could do what the picture shows then go for it.
BTW I had a beige interior car with children using it every day, and, if you regularly clean it, there is no problem-the only issues I had were with the driver's seat - I had to (every week) clean it to prevent permanent staining from my pant belt). |

interior colors
I think the gray, tan, black are monochrom.
coral red, terra are two toned. The cream color seems to be two toned also. I think the photo you posted is the cream not the gray. I think that is why it is two toned. But I could be completely wrong. But that is they way I have always seen them. |

Those are the only two options I'm interested in (both combined with gray poplar wood trim that goes well with the black portions of the interior), because I want the inside as monochromatic as possible. I saw a few hodge-podge combinations on the dealer lot that really hurt my eyes. Going all black would be another option, but I'm not a big fan of black interior in a sunny climate.
