looks good there but nothing that makes me go wow to be honest. I mean its got a nice sound to it and some little features which are not needed, but in all its a great car and the new suspension looks real nice.

I like the fact that they like the new auto transmission and that it holds gears which is good news. "There's also a new six-speed automatic transmission, which drives impressively (did we just say that about a slushbox?), its manual mode shifting rapidly and holding gears as long as the driver pleases."

He said that he likes the rear end of the E92 better than the E90. I don't agree with him at all. I haven't seen the car in person yet, so maybe it does look better. From the pics I've seen I prefer the rear end of the E90. I like the chrome on the HVAC knob.

Makes me feel better having just ordered the saloon.
Didn't realise that the centre console split the rear seats (like in the Mazda RX8) making it a 2+2 only. I've had several e46 coupes and would have really loved an e92. But in the e46 although the rear bench sloped, making it pretty much a 2 seater, you COULD squeeze one extra person back there with my 2 kids. This would rule the car out for me - so my decision to order the 330i saloon (which was mainly on the basis of not wanting to wait for the msport coupe or the 335i saloon) seems to have been the right one for me. |

since ive become acclimated to the look of the e92, whenever i see an e90 it looks dated and much less appealing, maybe its just me but the design of the e92 is leaps and bounds above the e90

Further prediction: if you want to amp up your 335, its going to cost you. Expect serious mods to be limited to the Big Boys, aka Dinan, and so carefully designed not to step on the M3s toes. 0-60 for Dinan 335: 4.7 sec. 0-60 for M3: 4.4 sec.

I like both rears
I guess that looks are very personal - I do however much prefer the e92 front to mine. I hope that the redesign of the e90 (refresh) will go in that direction-even though I realise that it will not be the same as BMW is trying to differentiate the coupe from the sedan visually. |

I sat in a 130i at my local garage and it felt VERY like a BMW. The main criticism here is over the price. The 3 series is expensive - but gets away with it my outgunning the competition - but there are some seriously poverty spec 1 series (116i) which are underpowered and VERY overpriced. There is a lot of good competition in the hot hatch sector as well (Golf GTI and R32, Honda Civic Type R (cheap fun !), Audi A3 3.2 quattro) so the 1 series hasn't faired as well as the 3 - also the mini cooper s steals a lot of it's thunder and is much more cool. Good news is you won't see anything less than a 125i in the states. Have a look at www.bmw.co.uk for all the info. |

I guarantee they have a 335i on order and will issue a re-map pretty soon - which should be just as good as their work on diesels. The 335i engine isn't being pushed to it's limit - so there is real scope. |

the more i think about it the more i wonder if the 330 and 325 are really going away in the E90, because the 330's engine is the new engine in the
07 X5...

Looks are clearly subjective. I like the sedan until I see it in a 3/4 or rear profile, then I can barely contain the projectile vomitting. The coupe on the other hand... <3

The look of a well sculpted backside has always appealed to me.
I prefer the sedan to the coupe's.
