Anyone who knows Macromedia Flash!
In order to make the e90/e92 configurators
(see these threads: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24660 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24666 ) I need someone who can help out with the Flash portion. I have a lot of things done so far in Photoshop but I want to know how this is going to mesh with Flash before I continue. If there is anyone who would like to work with me or anyone you know, please pm me. I do want to let you know that I am trying to self-teach myself Flash, but the progress is rather slow since I am taking summer classes. So, yeah, I would show you what I am capable of making with Flash so far, just for a few laughs haha but I can't attach a swf file here. It's like a circle moving across the screen lol, i'm proud of myself I figured out how to do that in like an hour! hahhaha.

i dont think anyones going to enroll in such a big task such as this for free. its very tedious heh.
if you really want this thing done then you should look into cartoonsmart.com That's how I learned how to make all kinds of flash stuff. Learning curve is still there but much easier to handle since u get video lessons. Really worth the price! |

I know Flash, been using Flash for a while, but am not very familiar with the Lingo code used in most super-advanced Flash websites.
The Audi configurator actually doesn't involve any coding - probably the hardest part is the suspension portion where moving a slider up/down will lower/raise your vehicle. That will be something difficult to code. All that's involved is a bunch of frames where you click on this, and this part/picture/frame gets taken off and a new part/picture/frame gets put on. You will a ton of pictures - a picture for each part and additionally, a picture for each color for each part. The Audi configurator could have been better, actually - notice that you can't change your car's color after you chosen one - the authors of the Flash configurator don't know how to input a code where Flash will automatically re-color the car (and all the added parts). I would help out but this is some serious work - you don't even know Flash and if I were to teach you how to make drop-down lists in Flash and make them as functional links, that alone will take a whole day for a complete Flash beginner.
