Guys, your help needed please!

Hey gang, I recently brought in my car to fix the rattle noise coming from the back, and it seems like it's fixed, no more rattle now (fingers crossed, knock on wood), but I think they might've put back the mid- headrest in the wrong way, can you guys check your own car to see if that's the case?

oh and check out the second pic, while driving to the dealership, I noticed that when I lock the doors, there's this whining noise, so asked them to take a look as well, it's gone now, looks like they replaced the latch (# 51-21-7-059-967), which is attached to the door handle, and look at what they left behind, a stuck door handle... I'm kinda ticked at their lack of attention to detail

that's what I figured, it just doesn't look right, so you can confirm that your mid headrest, when upright, the face is facing forward?

thanks for the quick reply, Baller!

Can't you pop the headrest out and twist it around? I've never taken mine out. Tell me again about the door handle, I think you lost me on that one. I see its still sticking out?

I also had a problem with the whining noise and I think they changed all the latches

But I can't believe they would put the door handle upside down! It's ridicilous!!

I would, but I want to show my SA and the foreman the 'quality work' that their shop guys did on my car.

As for the door handle, sorry I was in a haste posting the pictures, so it might've seem like some mumble jumble

so, as I was driving to the dealership this morning, I noticed that when I lock my doors, a whining noise appears (as mentioned by Oz in the below post), so I mentioned it to them to have it checked. When I got back the invoice where they list the parts that they've replaced to fix that whining noise, it appears that they've replaced the latch in the driver's door (part # listed on my first post). and in order to replace the latch, they have to take apart the door, and I guess, well, I know they didn't put back the door properly, 'cuz the door handle is stuck now, I have to push it in or it'll just stay stuck.

I KNOW, 'cuz when I got the car back, the headrest was actually in teh upright position, and I was like, hmmm, that doesn't look right, but I dind't wanna look like an ass right there, wanted to make sure

and I did notice the stuck handle there, but the dude told me that there's a recall service for all E90's door handle, 'cuz they made it too thick and it expand during hot weather, told me to bring it in enxt time to have them fixed, I was like oh okay, that makes sense. But when I got home, I tried all my other handles, they work, just not the one that they coincidentally happen to fiddle around with today.

that is some weird shit it sucks to have to miss work, I hate going to the dealership, I normally have to miss a whole day because something will go wrong.

I know, and my house happens to be between the dealership and my work, so it's a LONG drive for me. I've been dealing with the shop foreman, who is very knowledeable, and I'm gonna ask him to personally work on my car, that's not too prima dona of me is it? I figure his grease monkeys f..'d up once too much already.

No, because going more than twice is enough I think.

You should tell them someone was riding in the middle seat with the headrest like they installed it and you had to slam on the brakes and they hit their head on the metal. That ought to get you some service.

Honestly though, you should get that fixed, I can't imagine it's safe like that if someone really were to sit there. Hitting your head on those metal parts would hurt like hell. They definitly screwed up.
