AC doesn't work on the passenger side

I just got my car back from the dealer and they could not fix this problem. On the service invoice I got back it says "908 waiting for answer on puma case" and "8719 unable to isolate problem puma case has been submitted."
My SA said that this was the first time they encountered this problem and needed to wait for instructions on how to fix it from BMW.
Instead of cold air, warm air comes out from the passenger side.
Has anyone encountered this problem or am I the first one?

Puma is basically the technical help hotline of BMW. your problem WILL be resolved, it just may take a little while for the Engineers at BMW to decide what has caused your problem.

I know it's hot, but be patient, they'll take care of you.

"You didnt pay for this car, so you dont deserve A/C. Make payments and you EARN the A/C."

He's right.

I'm assuming you can turn off the air coming from the passenger vents?

On a side note, I wonder if it's something to do with the dual temperature settings. Maybe the passenger side knob-dial isn't working properly.

This happened to me a few weeks ago...only on the driver's side. Driving on I-70 from KCI to Fort Riley. It simply just stopped blowing any air to the driver's side. Even in manual mode with the fan turned all the way up. Nothing. Passenger side worked fine. After about 30 minutes it came back. I am curious to know what it is and if there are defective control units out there.
