I posted a a thread a couple weeks ago about getting pulled over by the staple center and getting a fix-it ticket for modified emissions and tint..
I got my fine in the mail today for $500.00.....

WTF... This is fuckin bullshit..

you're lucky you didn't get a state referee ticket. that is thousands....but i think you can sign it off and appear in front of the judge and have it reduce to 10 bucks. good luck

Wait, isn't that the fee if you don't fix it? If you do fix it I think you just pay court fees and sheriff's inspection fees...No?

I don't see how this is different from any other fix it ticket.

Yeah, I want to know did you laps the due date on your ticket? I had a $500 fix it ticket for no front plate and mod exhaust in Burbank a few years ago. I let it laps and it was $500. I thought you can fix it and then get it written off. Times are changing it seems. For mod exhaust after you fix it you have to take it to the CHP. They use a Decibel meter to check now. I read 95 decibels is the limit in CA. I wonder what the BMW performance exhaust is.
