Passenger Presence Sensor
When you have a front passenger, the car will turn on the seat belt indicator. I assume it uses a weight sensor? Anyone know what's the weight limit to trigger the sensor? Coz when I have my kid, it won't get triggered.

hre in switzerland law tells you that children under 8 years old does not come and seat in front. It is quite new, because years ago it was 10 or 12 ...
i can imagine Switzerland is quite the same as Germany ... So i don't know how much a 8 years old european does have for a weight, but i let you make with this information :-)

My backpack with a portable laptop, an ipod, and my pda cause the sensor to be tripped and the indicator light by the sunroof to blink. I'm guessing that is not even 10 lbs.
There must be a 2nd stage tho, because the chime never goes off. |
