sDrive35i Horsepower
Have seen quasi-official figures of 300 hp, 306 hp, and 320 hp for the N54 engine in the E89, with torque values tracking accordingly. Non-BMW test figures for this engine in the E9X models have shown a true value of around 320 hp (advertised 300 hp), the usual 'under-promise-&-over-perform' approach that BMW uses to released test figures on its powerplants.
But can anyone say what is the true hp and torque values for the E89 ... and the basis for that assertion? Is there a country-to-country delta? Just curious... |

300hp is SAE net horsepower and 306hp is not, they are the same engine and same power, just different measurements.
300hp version(sae net) is for north america and 306hp is for other countries like europe and asia the 320hp version i believe might be the M pkg for the new Z4 35i |
