It's space gray but heavily photoshopped. It's part of the initial pics released by BMW as part of the initial press release. All pictures released then were of space gray.

These wallpaper pics are not a good indication of color, see real-life pics in the various color threads for more accurate pictures:

You're right. It appears if you want what BMW originally put out as space gray you better get the titanium silver?

It's space gray.

2 reasons:

1. Just as the E90 was introduced with a new colour (sparkling graphite), the E92 will be too (space gray). All intro brochures and official pic releases will be in this colour.

2. Tit silver should be very similar to the colour of the aluminum alloy wheels. If you look at that pic, space gray is darker than the wheels.

So will the space gray look like that picture, or would the titianium look closer to it?

What the hell is wrong with BMW?

They BS which looks grey, SG which looks purple, that blue color that looks black - why not just come up with some decent colors like anybody else.

When I looked at a bunch of E90's in my dealer side by side even the CA could barely tell me which color is which!!!

OK Rant off

Titanium is lighter. Space Grey comes close to Silver Gray of the E46 coupe.
Today I saw both colours in reality on cars ready for production at the assembly line at BMW Regensburg.

It's a little darker than TiAg, but could be either.
