Just get in the options and lower the volume. Its alot better than Ford's really fast chime. So its all good to me.

Dealers won't do any of that stuff here in the states. Thanks to the litigation law suit happy society. I talked to my dealer....they said nope, no way, can't do it.

Thanks for your stellar input.
So sick and tired of seatbelt Nazis jumping in on this stuff. MadDragon, did any of us on this board say we want to drive at 100mph in crowded city areas ignoring all laws and risking our lives and others? NO we did not. We simply are looking for a way to disable the annoying seatbelt chime during short moves, such as getting out at the mail box, then driving in my garage, or getting a parking garage ticket then parking the car, or moving the car in the garage after I wash it. Or carrying my laptop bag on the passenger seat. So seriously....if you can add value to the post....why are you here????? |

I've lowered the volume on mine but it seems like it just gets higher again when the radio is on???

you realize that all you have to do if you have an american 1er is just pull the fuse for the seatbelt chime, go to your fuse box and open up that little white paper with all the functions of all the fuses and it'll tell you which one to pull
