Roll call for BMWCCA driving school/ car control clinic
Hey guys I was just wondering who is planning on attending the BMWCCA driving school and car control clinic this spring? I am planning on doing both so far. They are both a blast!

I'm planning to attend both events. Was just reading the Rocky Mountain BMWCCA website. Haven't decided which day I'll attend for the driving school. You doing Sat or Sun or both?
Won't be able to attend the general membership. Hope to one of these days. -Scott

I am going to finally be there this spring! Will also be doing the CCC as well. Probably shoot for Saturday. I just hope they allow me to run on my not-much-tread-left OEM RFTs, because I won't want to run on my brand new tires if possible.

Already ordered mine last week though not those ones. I wanted hyperblack, so going to be running 19x8.5 front wheels with 245/35R19 tires on front with 19x10 wheels with 275/30R19 tires on back. Hopefully no rubbing, or I may need some fender rolling in the rear.

I'll be there instructing. Not sure if I am coordinating the instruction at the car control clinic this year again or not.
I plan to bring the 335i this time.

Sid.
I am the 335 at the Shootist. I'm Bill Stone and yes I am planning on attending the meeting tomorrow at the LeMay . As for Pueblo , I'm undecided as I may be at High Plains raceway with my Audi groupI was at Pueblo last October and tore up my rear tires pretty good. May be driving the Audi tomorrow if it snows alot. I might run into you if I knew what you look like. Probably a good size crowd. Feel free to e-mail me at either billdstone@msn.com ( home ) or bstone@afsllc.com ( work ). or I will have my cell with me 303-229-9089. Take care. |

Hello
I am new to the BMW world and would love to get more involved. Does anyone have a link or some info to the Rocky Mountain BMACCA. I would be interested in getting on a track day. I am down in the Springs. Thanks

Hey bjo304 welcome to e90post.com. You should definatly come out for the BMWCCA events and driving schools and see what your e92 can really do. Im sure you will be thourghly impressed. Registration for the spring school opens April 4th at noon. It always fills up fast so I would suggest you sign up as close to that date as possiable. The event is only for BMWCCA members but you can join at the same time you sign up...........There are a bunch of guys in the Denver area and a few in the Springs that attend most of the CCA events. The BMWCCA is an awesome club as they have lots of fun events every season such as driving schools, club drives, mothly meets, and other stuff.

Go on there and spend a little while reading. The Roundel magazine is alone worth the dues IMO. Not too much going on at the moment because of the season, but club events to start to pick back up in April. |

There will be a link to sign up on the RMCBMWCCA.com web page once registration opens on the 4th. Does anybody remember how much it cost? I think it was like 250 for the school and membership, or something like that?

I've signed up for the Saturday class in group D. I'm going to the car control clinic in Saudi Aurora in mid-May as well. Looking forward to the driving class!

Yup, Saturday group D and CCC. Still debating if I want to use my old wheels/tires or go with the new set.
