Injen Intake For 128i

Here is what the Injen 128i intake will look like for our cars. I dont have a camera that is working right now, so no sound clips as of yet. I will post more pics up when my stuff feels like working again. Its a short ram intake with a heat shield.. I can barely hear it in my cabin due to my exhaust, but it does make my car sound more like a complete machine if that makes any sense to anyone. Gain for my car was around 10hp and about 10tq.

And The Dyno for my car with and with out the intake.

SP1118_2009_BMW_128i_6SPD.[1].pdf

The 90 degree bent metal sheet in front of the intake keeps the air from throwing any codes, or so i am told. pretty nifty eh.

How do you have access to this if it is not released yet?
The numbers look good on paper, can't wait to see what results others are having.

was wondering the same thing, and could you give an estimate of the price might be when this is released, hopefully it won't be as expensive as the AFE intake which is around 350-400$ which isn't too bad considering the bmw intake is 850$

anyone have info yet on when the injen for the 128 is going to be released? And I was wondering if anyone would want to order a injen for a 328 and put it in their 128 and see if it fits, supposedly both cars have the same exact engine it could work

Dont know when it will be release. Riss Racing told me the same thing about the 328i being the same as the 128i. I think you have to move the atf reservoir somewhere else. I just noticed this and wonder if thats the stock spot for that. if not then that nice cross strut or any strut might not fit?

so to get the injen intake we have to order it specifically from there website? I'm curious as to where that advertisement is from since, on the Injen website the intake is only avalable for the 335 and 135 not the 128 yet

I only have the two mods. I am hoping dinan comes out with a chip tune. The ad could have been attached to the email and the looks like our cars and the330 share the same parts?
