2007 Navigation Traffic and Weather
Has anyone heard anything about 2007 Navigation systems including live traffic and weather? I think there may be a sales planning document but I cannot find it.
I just placed an order for a 335i. Straight MSRP no MACO. Tom |

That would be cool, i remember at an autoshow BMW showed iDrive with scenic route or something. Where you can program an nice scenic route via your home pc and beam it to your Bimmer via the internet.

We have the TMC feature in Europe - I understand that it is just starting up in a few cities in the US...I am an American and it never ceases to amaze me how far behind we are in some technologies...we can put a man on the moon but a system as simple as TMC.....go figure.

I dont see why it would be difficult to have it, Acura has it so do other makers, Tom Tom has it also it uses your cell phones bluetooth to connect to internet. Last edited by Agni; 07-11-2006 at 12:40 AM.. |

I'd be happy if I could display Airports and other areas of interest without needing to look up and plug in the address. I have a European DVD by the way.

Its coming on the coupe thats why the nave is 2100 instead of the 2000 it is on the sedan. I doubt we can update ours for any resonable money either. It doesnt matter in NJ anyways because all major roads would be red all the time.

Did they charge extra for it? No. Was it a pain in the butt to get the upgrade? Heck yeah. I am not suggesting they will upgrade older E90s, just that technically its possible. -Brett |

Sure... 335i, steptronic, active steering, navigation, premium pkg, power read sunshade, metalic (monaco blue), beige leather, light poplar wood, heated front seats, distance control, comfort access, floormats. I think that's the list.
