MicroFibre Cloth

What exactly is a mircofibre cloth? I bought a set of three, and it seems to say on the instructions - you can use it on a dry car to remove dust and residual matter like pollen or stuff like that! From what I know...a cloth on a dry car leaves scratches! My car is saphire black...so it's quite a touchy colour! If the mircrofibre cloths aren't for this purpose -> what are they for???

Also, in the movies *(yes i know)*...i see poeple using what looks like a flat mop to "wipe" their cars clean...usually limo places (in the movies). What is this? I park outside (under a carport) and my car gets REALLY dusty every night...

What is the solution?

Also, what would be the best way - if there's is - to remove little bits of bird poop spotting on my car without washing the whole thing?

Read the fine print. The CLOTH won't scratch your car, but anything it picks up, well, . . . . I use them after I have washed my car, to remove/buff the finish spray I put on it.
Those things you see in the movie are probably the California duster. Better than the microfibre cloths, but they get real dirty. I never could figure out how to clean the ones I used on my two wheelers (black) very well. They get really grimy after a while.
Carports are a problem, I understand your concern. Even within a few hours of the wash, there is dust settling from mine.

Zaino products claim to have anti-static properties to let the dust slide off, but not sure if you can get them shipped to SA. For my Arctic, I end up with other things requiring a wash before the dust piles up. Every Saturday morning, unless I'm hung over.
