Solarwworks in Roswell
I've been considering pinnacle series ceramic tint from formula one.
I got a quote from Solarworks on Alpharetta Highway in Roswell for about $339. They said that there is no way the dot-matrix will be 100% satisfactory so one option was NOT to tint over them. But I think I'd rather have a couple of spots that don't look right instead of the entire dot-matrix not tinted. Has anyone here used these guys? Were you satisfied with their work? |

i had my e46 tinted by them with the pinnacle ceramics. They did exactly as you described for the dot matrix, just cut the film right under the dot matrix. I hated the way it looked and I highly recommend you don't go that route.
Everything else was perfect though. The ceramic tint was everything i expected from and noticeably thicker than the regular film. Try solar eclipse (accross the street from mall of georgia) 770-614-1750. My brother had huper optik ceramic installed by them and they left a few blotchy spots on the dot matrix but overall a very good job. I believe huper tint is a little bit more pricey though. |

JSO: thanks for the info
I've heard that even though huber optic says it's ceramic, it may still have something in it that causes problems with comfort accesss. My main concernt was how would it look if they didn't tint over the dot matrix and your experience confirms what I was afraid of. I will probably ask them to tint over the dot matrix and deal with it or maybe ask them to try magoops. They never brought up magoops so either they don't know about it or have tried it without good results. I'l find out. |

The best option is to have black vinyl placed over the dot matrix and then tint. That being said, I am still looking for a shop in the Atlanta/NE Ga area that will do that. I also am interested in the F1 pinnacle tint.
