1200 mile service
Hi All -
First post - so go easy! Getting my new E92 M3, MDCT, LMB, 19", DSP, EXT LEATHER, SPG, PDC FRT/RR next week - very excited! Although I'm going to miss my 335i BIG time (will I regret it?) Can anyone confirm what the UK cost is for the running-in service at 1200 miles? Also, what's everyones most recent opinions on the CUP tyres vs PS2's? I've read the previous UK thread but its not been updated for a while so thought I'd ask while I'm here! Cheers Last edited by themetz; 03-08-2009 at 01:24 AM.. Reason: typo |

FREE!?!?
I didn't know the words FREE and BMW had ever appeared together!! I had one dealer tell me that it would be £450 for the 1200 miler... so he was lying right?! The M is all I've ever wanted - I'm sooo terrified it's going to be an anti-climax! Still, I guess I'll ifnd out in a few days! |

Further investigation suggests the charge for the 1200 mile service is at the discretion of the dealer....
So the one who was going to charge me was clearly trying to claw back some discount! Needless to say order placed with the one who agreed not to charge me! |

Always shop around when you need dealer work, you would be surprised by the number who "try it on"!

1200 miles run in service is free. Make sure they don't change your DCT oil...
