H&R spring suspension problem?
I just got H&R springs on my car. I got them installed by a reputable local shop.
I noticed the front left has about 1cm more fender gap than the right side. Also the rear left has like maybe half a cm more fender gap than the right side. Is this normal? I was thinking it's like that to accomodate the drivers weight or it was installed wrong. I would think it's unlikely they installed it wrong bbecause the springs have to go in a groove, plus they've worked on many BMWs and other high performance cars. Anyone with H&R springs notice the same thing I noticed?

I believe that the springs may need a few miles/days to settle properly. Also, tend to agree with the weight thought.

Yea should be normal. At least stock it's normal. It's due to offset drivers weight

Bump, can anyone else with H&R's check and see if their front drivers sides fender gap is about 1 cm more than the passenger front side? Here's my car...

That's pretty straight I've not yet heard of it. I believe it does have to do with the springs settling and countering for driver weight... did you get the right model?

I'm getting an alignment today, Ill ask them what they think. It's almost been 2 weeks, so I'll probably go back to the shop after the alignment then after back for another alignment. How annoying.

Darrin at west end checked the height and it's 1/16th of an inch higher on the drivers side. When I get in the car it's exactly even. I guess the install was fine.
