BMW Manual doesn't fit in the glovebox?

Why not? I have it in the cubby hole in the trunk anyways, but you would think it should fit?

Mine just sits at home in the office. Don't know why it doesn't fit in the glovebox but it leaves no room for anything else anyway.

Sure, the manual fits...
if you first remove it from its fake leather cover thingy.

I guess thats why they went with the runflats and no spare so there is a place to store the owner's manual.

I managed to get mine in the glovebox. You litterally can't even put a box of tic tacs in there with it though.

The tool box cover is just the perfect nook for it...

Same. I've got mine in there, two pairs of sunglasses, and a charger for my iPod (when not in use charging the iPod).

I have mine sitting on the back seat, you know, like a passenger. I might start using the seatbelt soon. Why not? It's big enough and heavy enough!

I ordered 3 extras so myself and all possible passengers can use the reference at once. I am not about to let somebody ride in my car that isn't familiar with how to operate it's features. I just won't take that kind of risk.

I have mine in the trunk cubby.

Wife's Dad has an S Class. It comes with about 10 manuals that are the size of the Star Wars boxed set - on VHS!

None of you guys selected the "extended glove box" option when you purchased the vehicle. It is at the very bottom right corner of the contract. $250 extra but I love it. All my manuals fit perfectly.

Yeah I missed that important option. I actually have my mini Sony Laptop installed in there that acts as a GPS with mapquest.

I also store my owner's manual set in the trunk.

BMW is certainly not unique in the volume of manuals supplied with their vehicles (cars and motorcycles). Part of this is because of all the "cool" technology we desire (or they think we desire) and part of it is to help protect the company from lawsuits.

only fits one way, that is to ensure 50:50 balance. frankly, if you wear leather pants, you should put that manaul at the trunk.
