DVD navigation system

Hi All

looking for opinions

Does it make sense to keep the DVD in the navigation computer all the time or would it be better to remove it exept when needed. I thinking about wear and tear on the system.

Thanks-

I'd wait for others to chime in (I'm just guessing here), but I suppose if you only use nav when you're heading out of town, there wouldn't be any disadvantage to taking the disc out. Just have to keep it from being damaged and remember it next time you're on a roadtrip.
