Gum on the fender

Any recommendations on removing a stubborn string of gum from the fender of my new 330. Apparently a trash can is too hard for some to use so I end up with the stuff on my car...

What can get it off?

i'd try lots of hot water to loosen it up a bit and then try very gently to scrub it away with MF cloth.

you can try icing the gum first, so it becomes more solid and less gooey. If it doesn't come off in one piece, I agree with the goo gone, followed by soap and water.

try tar & bug remover. After it's off, apply a good wax to the area.

WD 40 will do it. I had the same thing happen to me. Just make sure to rewax the area because WD 40 will remove any wax or sealant that you applied.

Replace the fender.

J/K

Use bug and tar remover. Make sure to polish and wax that area afterwards.

I agree with rad21.. use WD-40... most people have that lying around the house somewhere, and it works wonders to remove most stuff.
