335i: Programming comfort access to open all doors.

Is it possible to program comfort access to open all doors when the driver's handle is touched instead of just the driver's door?

What if there was a guy looking to kill you standing on the other side of your car? Would you still want CA to open all of your doors?!?

just kidding... I... I have no clue.

yes there's a way. if you change your settings to unlock all doors when you press unlock instead of driver's door it would also work for comfort access, at least it does for my car but I'm not sure about your E39.

I dont think CA dictates the doorlock setting. Mine is set to open all 4 doors. Check your Idrive or stalk settings. At least that is how mine works in the E90.

Door locking is controlled through the stalk and viewed in the cluster display. (non idrive cars). Its in the manual.

Instructions are surprisingly found in your owner's manual. This option is avail for I-drive and non I-drive cars.

Are you saying that the doors will be open LITERALLY (using your Comfort Access)?? to let you and your passengers get in?
