Is it ok to drive without a front bumper short distances?

I have my front bumper sold, but my new bumper doesnt get in until later, is it ok to drive without a bumper short distance like to and from work, which is only 2 miles away?

OMG ghetto.

And I think not having a bumper makes your car street illegal. Cops could cite you (but they'd probably just laugh instead).

If your bumper comes next week or something. Drive the car
If youndo get pulled over tell the cop that you are going to the auto shop to put the bumper on right now. If he still gives you a ticket. Take the car ( with the new bumper on ) to the station they should get rid of the ticket.
If not take it to court show them pics with it bumper on and you will not be fined..

I've had this ticket 2 times lol. One in my turbo civic. Intercooler was big and the bumper needed to be cut... same case in my old S4

Sure it's OK. My buddy did it in his car when his upgraded FMIC didn't clear the stock bumper. He was too lazy to put it back on for a while so he drove the car w/o a front bumper for 2 or so weeks, lol.

That is embarrasingly ghetto. Would be less ghetto to be seen waiting at the bus stop IMO

Bumper, or bumper cover?

There's nothing structural about the plastic bumper cover. So long as the big piece of metal/rubber/foam is still intact underneath, not sure why anyone would care.

I wouldnt but there is nothing that will hurt the car.
BTW: I assumed only the cover is missing, is the actual bumper still intact?
