2008 323i halogens to angel/xenons

This has become the most exhausting process ever as I have waded through countless forums and searched all over Google trying to find the answer to this but it doesn't seem there has been a definitive answer yet so alas I'll post it again here.

I have a 2008 323i with halogens which I despise. I would love the angel/demon eyes and xenons instead but have been unable to find the parts ANYWHERE OEM or aftermarket without having to splice original harnesses etc.

IS there a plug'n play upgrade for these?

Thanks a mill!

Welcome to Canada!

there is no such a thing as plug and play.
the splice wiring is easy to do.
there is a DIY instruction
for the lights, you can buy the OEM US spec or Euro non AHL.
check out the forum here, from time to time, people sell xenon lights for cheap.
I am planning to sell my euro set next month after I change to LCI.
good luck

Better to head over to the classifieds to scout for cheap US Spec Xenons. The Angel Eye kits if available will certainly look ricey.

To all future purchasers

GET Xenons, retrofitting is a greater problem than only paying about $18 more a month on your loan.
People are settling thinking that "now that halogens have coronas they look just as good, I can skimp on the xenons". NOT!!

It's more trouble than it's worth...Check the block next to Xenons when ordering.

what makes the conversion so difficult?

Is it finding a pair of OEM headlights? Or the installation itself?

Does anyone know why you get an error when you choose aftermarket kits? as in, the entire headlight fixture?
