Item Interest

Want to go from 18s to 17s (crazy, I know). I have a set of mint staggered 189s with either the already mounted GoodYear F1 A/S (7k miles), or the original RFTs with less than 100 miles on them. The trade will depend on the condition of 188s and their tires. I am looking for 188s 8inch wide fronts, 8.5 inch wide rears. I will only consider mint condition rims.

Why are you thinking of this? Any bad experiences with 18s? I'm looking into getting either 18s or 17s, but would like to hear what you think.

In order of importance

Ride quality, especially on our crappy NE roads.
Installation, most shops have a hard time with low profile 18s
Tire availability. More models available at 17
Weight - 17 inch wheels + tires weigh less than 18s
Cost of replacement tires
