1200 mile service appointment, how long?

I am due to take my car into service for 1200 mile service. The SA said it would take an hour, and that I could wait with my car. I read throughout the board that it takes a few hours. Anybody wait with their car? If so, did it take only an hour or so?

Thanks...

The 1200 mile service takes about 1-2 hours; not too bad.

I'm at the dealer as I write this waiting for my car to be done it's break-in service and it's clost to 2 and a half hours now. I can see the technician installing the new oil filter and preparing to pour in the new oil.

So a total hours waiting? Only took mine an hour 30 minutes- but that was an 8am appointment!

I just took mine in this past Wednesday for the 1200 mile break-in service. They told me the Saturday before that it would take 3 to 4 hours.

I dropped it off at Noon, their courstey car took me back to work and then they called me about 4:15pm saying it was done. So for me it was 4hrs.
