Do you have one these plastic wedge tools?

If you do, it's very easy to do the front. Slide a piece of thin card like your insurance in between your hood and the roundel. Wedge the plastic tool in between and lift up. It should pop out. You'll see two rubber grommets in the back of the roundel or they might be left behind on the hood. Remove the grommets and place them back into the hood and press the new roundel down on to the grommets.

The back is the same for E90. For E92/3, it's a little more tricky. The rear roundel has both tape and rubber grommets on it. So you have to wedge and pry around the clock and put it straight out.

You can also do it with a flat head screw driver, but it'll be a little more risky since you can slip and scratch the paint underneath.

^ yeah for the front, I used a small flat head, and used a mechanic glove right behind the flat head, so a visual you would think a teeter totter , then that gives you good leverage to push the flat head handle, and protects the paint...
