Suspension Squeak
When I get out of my e90 (4K miles, born on date 12/05) there is an annoying squeak that seems to come from under the car (not the seat or door). I searched the forum but did not find anyone with a similar issue.
As a test to find source, I opened the door, stood on sill and bounced the car... It squeaked. What suspension component would cause this noise? Before I take it to dealer, wanted to check with the forum... any thoughts?

Squeak
I initially noticed the squeak when getting out of the car. Don't notice it much otherwise. To figure out if the squeak was originating from the seat or the suspension, I opened the door, stood on door sill, and bounced the car. This made the suspension produce a high pitch loud squeak.

its may be the rubber on your tires bro! when i get out of my car in my garage it does the same thing! its the tires sitting flat and they pick themselves up as you get out of the car so the tires push out and it squeaks when it does it!

Metal on metal
Definately metal on metal, not sticky rubber. I just made an appointment at the dealer for next Wed. Will let you know what it turns out to be.

Found the problem...
I had this squeak issue posted as a thread in the DIY-MAINTENANCE area as well. E90Fleet responded with the problem/fix (much appreciated).
Turns out I did not have the parking brake fully engaged. To test, I disengaged the parking brake and bounced on the door sill... NO SQUEAK! Then I gave the parking brake a good yank, bounced on the sill, no squeak. Thanks all! I really appreciate that I don't have to waste time going to the dealer (just to be told I need to pull hard on the brake lever).
